Drug exacerbated psoriasis – 03/11

Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin disorder, and a team from the Department of Dermatology and Venereology at the University Hospital Center Zagreb, School of Medicine University of Zagreb, Croatia have observed that certain drugs can exacerbate symptoms of psoriasis.

They reviewed a variety of cases and found that adregenic antagonists, interferon, gemfibrozil, iodine, digoxin and chlonidine all exacerbate psoriasis.
