Following on from the huge success of our inaugural awards in 2012, the 2013 FreeFrom Skin Care Awards, in association once again with The Green Beauty Bible, the Allergy+FreeFrom Show and Janey Lee Grace, will open on 1st January 2013. The presentation will take place at the Allergy & FreeFrom Show at Olympia in early June where Janey will, we are delighted to be able to announce, again be presenting the awards.

The FreeFrom Skin Care Awards are designed to celebrate and encourage skin care manufacturers who create products that exclude as many as possible of the allergens, chemicals, fragrances and artificial additives associated with many of the skin and health problems which effect us in the 21st century - and which may appeal to those looking for purer or more natural cosmetics and products for their skin, including those with problem skin conditions.

Entries are initially assessed by panels of independent skincare and natural health experts who choose products to commend and products to shortlist for an award of excellence. Shortlisted products then undergo a rigorous month of hands-on testing by experienced Beauty Bible testers before the best in each category are selected as gold, silver and bronze winners in the final judging stage. Categories:
There are twelve categories in the 2013 awards including categories for facecare products, bodycare products, men's grooming, products for babies, kids and mums-to-be, best 'free from' skincare brand, best product for problem skin, and several others. See Categories 2013 and Rules of Entry for more details.

Timeline:
• 1st January 2013 – Entry opens
• 21st January 2013 – end of 10% discount for early entry
• 15th February 2013 – Entry closes
• 25th February 2013 – Deadline for submission of two product samples
• W/C 11th March 2013 – Shortlist published
• April 2013 – Month-long Beauty Bible testing
• 7th June 2012 – Winners announced / Presentation at The Allergy & Free From Show
