A’kin PureMAN
Few product ranges can claim to be as ‘free from’ as those from Australian skincare specialists The Purist Company. Their award-winning natural skincare brand A’Kin already boasts highly-valued face, hair, body, hand and baby care products – including a popular ‘Unscented’ collection, perfect for those with sensitive skins – and now they’ve unveiled a new range of multi-action grooming products specifically for the gents.
A’kin PureMAN consists of five everyday essential products, each characterised by a light scent of orange oil with a subtle hint of background spice:
* Energising All-in-one Hair + Body Wash (£8.49, 150ml);
* Invigorating Daily Face Wash (£10.99, 125ml);
* Dual Action Face Wash + Scrub (£10.99, 75ml);
* Calming After Shave Balm (£10.99, 75ml);
* Visibly Fit 24 Hour Moisturiser (£15.99, 50ml).
Skins Matter particularly like the refreshing and invigorating quality of the quintet, probably attributable to the ginger and ginseng, as well as the obvious citrus tang. The range also features aloe and vitamin B5 which are said to help relieve the irritation of skin sensitivities.
As far as ‘free from’ qualities go, there is no alcohol, which guarantees against any post-shave burning, and no synthetic mineral oils, which can overload men’s already more oily skins to the point where blocked pores and congested skin become a real issue.
Just like the entire A’kin range, PureMAN is furthermore free from parabens, sulphates, petrochemical cleansers, silicones, artificial fragrances, artificial colours and any animal products.
