Burt's Bees natural anti-blemish solutions

Burt’s Bees have just unveiled their new acne-fighting foursome of products – and are billing them as the ‘first scientifically proven natural anti-blemish’ line.
This range is formulated with an effective blemish fighting ingredient, salicylic acid, naturally sourced from willow bark extract, for a clearer complexion and healthier-looking skin.
As a natural anti-blemish-fighting ingredient, salicylic acid penetrates into follicles, opening blocked pores and helping to prevent them from clogging up again by discouraging dead skin cell build-up. It also fights the bacteria that cause blemishes.
The products are:
* Burt’s Bees Gel Cleanser (£9.99, 145ml): formulated with evening primrose and beetroot extracts, this penetrates pores to help reduce blemishes and prevent future breakouts without over-drying or irritating skin.
* Burt’s Bees Pore Refining Scrub (£9.99, 110g): this 100% natural, dual-action scrub contains jojoba beads and a fruit acid complex to gently exfoliate skin, washing away dead skin cells and refining the appearance of pores without over drying or irritating skin.
* Burt’s Bees Spot Treatment (£9.99, 7.5ml): a 100% natural solution, with tea tree, calendula, yarrow, borage and parsley extracts, to treat spots.
* Burt’s Bees Daily Moisturising Lotion (£14.99 55g): also 100% natural, and boasting lemongrass, witch hazel, goldenseal and hops, this lightweight moisturiser is proven to help control oil and protect against blemishes without over drying or irritating skin.
Skins Matter particularly likes the Daily Moisturising Lotion, which is light, fresh, quickly absorbed and pleasantly fragrant – a real pleasure to use – and is impressed that the range doesn’t have a ‘chemical’ or overpowering feel to it, which so many acne-busting products can have.
The range is free from parabens, SLS, SLES, petrochemicals, phthalates, artificial additives and many other undesirable ingredients.
