Cetaphil Restoraderm

Cetaphil, makers of therapeutic skincare products in the shape of a cleanser, lotion and cream, which are suitable for all skin types, have added two new products to their range.
The Cetaphil Restoraderm Skin Restoring Body Wash and Skin Restoring Moisturiser are aimed at those with sensitive, dry, irritated and eczema-prone skin, and are formulated to work together as part of a gentle daily skincare routine, suitable for adults and children aged three months and over.
The Cetaphil Restoraderm Skin Restoring Body Wash (£15.99, 295ml) includes skin-nourishing oils in a soap-free foaming wash that cleanses while avoiding irritation and drying of the skin, and while restoring the skin’s barrier function. It contains allantoin to alleviate dryness, and shea butter and sunflower oil to preserve moisture and smoothe the skin.
Meanwhile, the Cetaphil Restoraderm Skin Restoring Moisturiser (£19.99, 295ml) has been clinically proven to moisturise very dry, itchy and sensitive skin. It’s a non-greasy, creamy moisturiser which absorbs quickly, providing long-lasting hydration. It contains ceramides to help enhance the skin’s ability to retain moisture, and allantoin and panthenol to soothe and alleviate itchy skin.
It also contains filaggrin breakdown products. Filaggrins are proteins normally found in the outermost layer of healthy skin that help hold it together, but in people with eczema, these proteins may be missing or may not function properly. These ingredients help restore moisture to the skin.
As far as ‘free from’ properties go, the range has no preservatives, fragrances, nut oils, parabens and lanolin.
