Crabtree and Evelyn’s Citron, Honey and Coriander body care collection
We at SkinsMatter.com always welcome it when the more traditional suppliers of bodycare products venture increasingly into ‘free from’ skincare, so it’s safe to say we’re pleased that purveyors of luxury indulgence Crabtree & Evelyn have just launched a new collection with some properties we really, really like.
The Citron, Honey and Coriander body care collection is said to be inspired by “the abundant orchards of the Meditarranean”, and is described as a botanical range boasting vitamin-rich fruit extracts. Faithful to the C&E brand, indulgence remains the key quality.
The collection comprises:
* Skin Indulging Body Soufflé (£18, 225g): A rich blend of honey and apricot and peach kernel oils help moisturise, while fruit acids and sugar help even skin tone, leaving skin conditioned.
* Skin Smoothing Body Scrub (£15, 175g): Rich in botanical oils, with granules of sunflower wax to exfoliate, and soothing honey and fruit oils help nourish.
* Skin Cleansing Bath & Shower Gel (£14, 250ml): Fruit acids and sugar combine to refine skin, and glycerine, aloe vera, honey and tea extracts condition and moisturise skin.
* Skin Quenching Body Lotion (£15, 250ml): Rich and lightweight, and boasting extracts of pumpkin and stone fruits blended with fig and sugar, to leave skin supple and smooth.
* Refreshing Body Bar (£5, 140g): Boasting a purifying herbal blend of rosemary, thyme, tea tree, golden seal, willow bark, eucalyptus, and coriander, and with creamy shea butter and rich evening primrose oil to moisturise and recondition.
As delicious as the products are, it’s the ‘free from’ qualities which as always concern us most, and the range contains no parabens, phthalates, sulfates, propylene glycol or mineral oil.
