Indigo Skin Repair Cream
A new skin cream for psoriasis containing extracts of the plant indigo digitalis has just been launched.
Indigo skin repair cream is an intensive moisturiser, suitable for face and body, which is free from parabens and contains only naturally derived ingredients. It also boasts what it calls “a sophisticated blend of skin protecting antioxidants to prevent damage from free radicals and everyday pollutants”.
The dark blue powdered plant extract from the indigo plant has been shown in one recent small study to reduce the redness and hardness associated with psoriasis, which affects around 2% of the UK population.
